Police nab drug suspects in border of Kiamba and Maitum


MAITUM, Sarangani (October 26, 2012) – Eugene Abid Gauna, a resident of San Isidro General Santos City, and Jayrex Degelmo Pajarillo, a resident of Kiamba, who police allegedly said both violated Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act have their mugshot taken at the Maitum Police Station Thursday, October 25. The suspects were arrested in Crossing Saging, barangay Pangi at noon. The site lies at Maitum’s river border with Kiamba. The arresting team headed by SPO3 Felix Sollera Miñon of Maitum Police Station seized two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth over P5,000. These substances will still undergo qualitative crime laboratory examination as requested by PSI Luis Savila Pederio, Maitum police chief.
